These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, digital services, and materials operated by The Final Girl Collective, LLC ("The Collective," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using any part of our websites, services, or products, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions stated here, you may not access or use our services.

These Terms apply to all websites, forms, digital downloads, and subscription platforms operated under The Collective's name and related sub-brands.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By visiting our website, submitting an inquiry, purchasing a service, enrolling in a course, or downloading a resource, you confirm that you:
Are at least 18 years of age or have the legal capacity to enter into a contract;
Have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms; and
Will comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your use of our services.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, materials, and designs available on this website—including but not limited to text, logos, branding, templates, graphics, images, digital downloads, and copy—are the intellectual property of The Final Girl Collective, LLC or its licensors.
You may not reproduce, duplicate, distribute, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of this content without express written permission from The Collective. Unauthorized use of our materials may result in legal action.
Manuscript Readiness & Service Eligibility
Editorial services are designed for manuscripts at different stages of completion. The Client is responsible for selecting the service that best fits the manuscript's current needs.
If, after reviewing the manuscript, The Final Girl Collective determines that the requested service is not appropriate for the manuscript's condition, The Collective reserves the right to recommend or require a different level of editing before work begins.
Proofreading is intended only for manuscripts that have already undergone substantial editing and are ready for publication or submission. It is limited to correcting minor spelling, grammar, punctuation, formatting, and consistency errors. It is not a substitute for copyediting, line editing, or developmental editing.
Any change in service, pricing, scope, or timeline will be discussed with the Client and approved before work begins.
4. Services and Digital Products
We provide editorial services, mentorship, community memberships, and downloadable materials designed to support authors and creative professionals.
a. Service Quotes and Agreements
All services are subject to a separate written Service Agreement, which outlines the specific scope, payment structure, and confidentiality obligations. No editing, publishing, or collaboration will commence without a signed agreement.
b. Digital Downloads
Digital products (including Notion templates, guides, or toolkits) are delivered electronically and are non-refundable. By purchasing or downloading digital items, you receive a limited, non-transferable, single-user license for personal or professional use only.
c. Membership and Courses
Subscriptions or memberships (e.g., Twisted Minds) may include recurring billing. You are responsible for canceling or modifying your subscription prior to the next billing cycle to avoid additional charges.
5. Payments and Refunds
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely via approved payment providers.
Due to the customized nature of editorial, coaching, publishing, and digital services, payments are generally non-refundable once work has begun. Deposits, where applicable, are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the applicable Service Agreement. Any exceptions are made solely at the discretion of The Final Girl Collective and will be documented in writing.
6. Confidentiality and Data Use
All client manuscripts, projects, and personal data are handled with strict confidentiality. We use Google Workspace and encrypted backups to securely store files. For additional details, see our Confidentiality and Data Use Agreement, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
7. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use our services for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose. Prohibited conduct includes but is not limited to:
Copying or redistributing templates, guides, or proprietary materials;
Sharing private membership content outside authorized channels;
Engaging in harassment, defamation, or abusive communication within our community platforms;
Attempting to hack, interfere with, or disrupt our digital systems.
Violation of this policy may result in immediate termination of your access without refund.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Collective provides all services, content, and materials "as is" and "as available." We make no guarantees that our services will meet your expectations or that any creative, financial, or professional outcome is assured.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Collective and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, website, or materials.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Final Girl Collective, LLC, its affiliates, and their officers, employees, and contractors from any claim, demand, or expense (including attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of our services.
